Message: riesebeck to ebay on 27 May 2009:
I see that my account is still blocked. And as I asked already several times before, if this is indefinitely, please let me know and in this case I want to have my account closed. The overpaid ebay fees can be refunded to my bank account. Otherwise please let me know when I can use my account again. I have sent several emails asking you why my account is suspended and when I can use it again. The only answer that I received from ebay is that my daughter, who has a different ebay account, has done something that ebay did not want buyers to do. Ebay did not explain what that was! Therefore ebay also suspended MY account as well without explaining the exact reason to me. Since you did not inform me about my daughter's misconduct, I have to guess and I offered you to pay any fees that she might owe you. Ebay did not reply to that. I also offered ebay any other payment or relief to make up for my daughter's mistakes. Ebay did not react to my offers in any way but is holding MY ebay account 'hostage' too. It is this kind of arbitrariness conducted in the middle ages and actually not appropriate today in the United States of America. When I try to log into my account, I get the following message:
"Users whose registered status is blocked must resolve any outstanding complaints on file before proceeding." How can I resolve the problem when ebay is not telling me what went wrong and how can we fix it? My daughter asked ebay to close her account. Ebay replied that it can't be done because of an open issue. When my daughter wrote that she is co-operative and want to know what she can do to resolve the problem, ebay did not reply.
Please be so kind and reply to my email and the questions I have. Thank you.
Un-block my account or close it down completely.
