I am a family member of the riesebeck clan that is presently held hostage by ebay. Here is the story which was forwarded to ebay by my cousin wallauc. I did some of my own research and was told by other ebay customers that there are many family members on ebay doing business. There is nothing in the ebay rules saying that there is only allowed one ebay account per family. Other ebay members told me that it is even possible that one entity has several ebay accounts. Anyway, what ebay is doing here needs to be brought before the ebay CEO and we all expect to have this matter solved in a timely manner by him. Again, this is the story that applies to the riesebeck family:

Yes, I am guilty. I am aspenfuelenhancer's cousin - and - I can not do anything about it. If this is against ebay's rules to be a family member of somebody who is disliked by ebay, I apologize. After I learned about the suspension of my ebay account because I am a family member of aspenfuelenhancer, I called the whole family up and here is what I learned: Aspenfuelenhancer's account was suspended without giving a reason. When she asked what she has done wrong and how it can be redone, she did not receive an answer. A short time later, only BECAUSE SHE IS aspenfuelenhancer's MOTHER, riesebeck's ebay account was suspended. riesebeck had no idea about her daughter's trouble, has a high positive feedback and has not
done wrong but being aspenfuelenhancer's mother. riesebeck asked, begged, pleaded and offered ebay money to tell her what her daughter has done wrong and how to fix it, ebay did not even bother to answer. Both accounts remain suspended without any explanation and reason. Now, ONLY BECAUSE I AM A COUSIN (it is the first time in my life that I regret this fact) my ebay account is suspened too with the objective " User wallauc is Linked to a Suspended User". Yes, I am linked or better, related to the other two people. Is that against ebay rules? If that is the case, I want to have it in writing from ebay. Again, to make it clear to everybody, I am just the cousin, have NOT DONE ANYTHING WRONG, sometimes list, sometimes buy and just mind my own business. We are a huge, close-knit family, I have a
bunch of siblings and even a bigger amount of cousins. We do a lot together and our ebay sales mostly go into a common savings account for buying a travel trailer for all of us. I think, it was the last time in the Middle Ages that some kind of 'superior' being felt entitled to wipe out an entire clan when one family member made a mistake.
This needs to be discussed. Please forward this email to the ebay CEO because now this is going too far and needs to be addressed with the General Manager. I expect a reply from the ebay CEO.

I like to go the first square, and solve that one before going further. I think it is required in this case.
To me the first question is why "aspenfuelenhancer"'s account was suspended, plain and simple. I have never heard of Ebay suspending someone's account without providing a reason. That doesn't make sense.
Ebay provides a link on the suspension information page to contact them about reinstatement. Perhaps "aspenfuelenhancer" should use it to start a dialog. Until that is done, these other accounts probably can't be reinstated.
"IMPORTANT NOTE: Members who are suspended are prohibited from registering new accounts with eBay, or using any existing accounts. eBay reserves the right to suspend existing accounts, as well as new accounts opened by anyone in the same household of a suspended user, or by any other associates of a suspended user. Was there every any activity between the accounts? Did you buy things from any one of the other accounts, or bid on anything in the other accounts? If so, that is considered shill bidding and against eBay policy. They will not have it as it artificially inflates feedback scores and increases selling prices for legitimate buyers.
If there is no account activity between any of the accounts, so many accounts accessed from the same location or with the money going the same place is likely to raise red flags.
Hopefully you get a successful resolution.
FYI the eBay CEO is John Donahoe. I doubt he will be in touch with you, but customer service, hopefully yes.
