Enterprise Takes Away Some of the Pain of Being in an Accident!

On Saturday, January 30th, I was involved in a serious car accident. I filed a claim with my insurance carrier that night and a rental car was arranged through Enterprise. Since only the airport locations were open on Sunday, I arranged to pick up the car at the Hicksville, NY location on Monday.
Monday morning we were contacted by someone to confirm that all was arranged. I called back and spoke to Edgar. I told him that I did not want a small car and to please make sure a larger vehicle was available. I understood that we would have to pick up some of the cost since the insurance would only cover $30 a day. He assured me that he had several full size vehicles available.
We arrived at the office at 12:30 PM and were cheerfully greeted by Kristin. She took the necessary information from us and expressed, what I felt was, true concern for the fact that I had been in an accident. She then took us outside to show us the available vehicles.
We decided on the Chevy Tahoe. Kristin explained in detail how much extra it would cost and we went inside to complete the paperwork. Once done we went out and did a complete walk around to check for existing damage and then Kristin and I sat in the truck while she went over the features and how to work the controls. She provided us with all the necessary reach numbers and told us to call her if we had any questions.
Later that day we were contacted by Mike to see if everything was OK with the rental and if we had any questions.
Overall we received excellent customer service from the entire team at the Hicksville location and would not hesitate to rent there again. Having to deal with so many issues after an accident is time consuming and upsetting. Enterprise made it a little bit easier!
