Proof Claims Can Go Right!

Write a Letter to this Company
I simply wanted to let you know how simple your claims processing went today. Thanks to a fine road, a rock was tossed up into my window recently. It was unavoidable and left a crack.
That crack grew to cover nearly my entire windshield recently with the drastic changes in temperature, so I decided to take the time today to call in the claim and get it processed. The gentlemen on the other end of the line took my information, was clear and easy to understand, was professional and called a few different places in order to try and find a place that could get the work done yet today. I am sorry that I do not know his name or badge number.
I know that no one enjoys paying insurance.
Yet, I wanted to make sure you knew that my experience today was one that made me feel a little better about it. The entire process happened in a very professional, pleasant and glitch free way.
I was able to get my window repaired and will continue to stay with Farmers as long as the rates are competitive.
Thank you for doing the right thing by having systems and people in place to act in such a way.

Good letter! I have to say, I had Farmer's Insurance when I was doing a lot of interstate driving, and I bet I cracked three windshields in 12-18 months. Each time, my windshield got replaced, no deductible, no cost to me, each time. Granted, I called and agreed to their "could you please use our recommended windshield replacement company" request (not a requirement), and it was a breeze.
I had one crack simply from the extreme cold outside contrasted with the defroster on a long, cold drive to Chicago.
I was told that in my state (Iowa at the time), it was illegal to drive with a cracked windshield, so insurance companies were great about replacing them.
I use State Farm now, but Farmer's Insurance was good when I used them. Good for you for giving them positive feedback. A new windshield here or there can give them positive returns as far as customer loyaltay. Alas, not with me. But at least with you! :)
