Goodbye FedEx Hello anyone else

Write a Letter to this Company

I have a package that was delivered on 7/26 a note was left on my door that I nneded to sign for it. I called up the 800 number and was told the sender required a signature, I explained to the lady that my wife and I both work til 5 and could not be home. The customer rep told me she would add a note to deliver after 5.

7/27 I get home, another note on the door saying we missed delivery, it was attemped at 2:20pm. I called again and I was told this time that it was not a promise, but an attempt to deliver after 5, and my driver is not in my area around 5pm. I had to agree to have them drop it off at my local spot (which is only 5 minutes away, but last time I tried this it got dropped off in the wrong location 45min away)

7/28 - I check the online tracking they gave me and it does say it was delivered to the local office at 5:20pm!!!! How is it he can deliver it to the local office that is 5 minutes from my house after 5, but it cant be delivered to my home after 5????

7/28 - Received a phone call that the package had arrived, I told them I would pick it up on friday after work.

7/29 - Received 4 phone calls within 5 minutes while I am talking to a customer. I thought it might be an emergency so I answered it on the 4th try, it was fedex. I explained Im in a meeting and he just said he was required to get ahold of me. Four calls in 5 minutes is a bit much, and when I keep sending you to voice mail that should be a clue.

I am never using FedEx EVER again. If someone I order something from requires FedEx I will cancel the order and get it from someone else.

FedEx can...

Realize people work and be able to drop off at different times, UPS can do this why cant you?

Dont tell a customer that you will drop a package off at a certain time and then not do it, then make up the excuse that it wasnt a guaranteed drop off time.

dont call a customer 4 times in a row just hoping I will answer eventually. If I dont answer there is a reason why.

Have the package delivered to you or your wife at work. I have been
doing if that way for many years. It works.
