Option for V6 Mustang

I would like to make a suggestion for the V6 Mustang. My suggestion is to add a dual exhaust option for those who want the look and sound of a Mustang GT. With the price of GT higher than some can afford as well as high gasoline prices the dual exhaust option would be an great alternative. Not only would Ford get extra revenue from this option, it would help the performance of the V6 as well as possibly increase fuel economy. For the consumer it would give the look and sound of a V8 Mustang. Thank you for reading my letter.
Sincerely,
Phil Kos

You can modify the car with aftermarket parts for dual exhaust, probably for a lot less than Ford would charge for it as an option.

People get over the idea that they have to be louder and more powerful than the next person. Americans are idiots. I say that as born and bred and ancestors going back to the Revolutionary War. People are so spoiled here. In England they pay twice as much for gas and oil as we do here. Here we live in the land of consumption, and screw the rest of the world. When will we wake up? I've been laughing at the American car companies since I was a kid. I realized then that we make crap, and other countries make decent cars. And the chickens are coming home to roost now. What do we do? We pass enact ethanol legislation to supplement a vanishing resource. Nice. What will we do when there is no more oil to make gas to mix with ethanol? Rugh-Row George. Why not put our resources into developing new technologies instead of propping up the old? The other countries are eating our lunch. They make their cars here, they make their batteries here, they sell their cars here. Yeah, we're screwed. So working class people resort to complaining about outsourcing. That isn't the real problem. The problem is in Washington, the leadership of the companies, and what Americans are willing or eager to consume.
What are you going to do in 20 years, Phil, when you are driving an electric car because all the oil is gone? Are you going to hook up a sound system to a speaker where the exhaust would be, and play loud gas engine sounds to remind you of the "good old days"?

You could always go to West Coast Customs (the place they take the cars on MTV's Pimp My Ride)...they'll even put a fireplace in your car.

I agree.
Have you seen the cars (I don't remember the make/model) that have FAKE dual exhaust systems? Posers are all around us, I suppose.

I am completely against them offering this option. The dual exhaust is one of the distinguishing features of the GT!
