I both a used 2005 Ford f150 4x4 from a nissan dealer. The truck was working and running great for two weeks. After that i had to get the timming chain and gears replaced. Front bearn replaced spark plugs and boots replaced. And now the truck is vibrating like crazy it feels like the torque convertor is locking up or something. Also it has no power at all,and is bad on gas @ 12 miles to the gallon. I had a chev extended cag and wanted a bigger truck so I am knew to the ford thing. I wish I stad with my chev iy never gave me a minute of problem. This ford hasn't stopped give me problem I paid 19,000 for and put so far about 5,000 and still have problem with it any help.

Well my tranny finally went out and replaced it with a knew ford tranny with 3 years 100,000 mile warranty. It still has a miss fire and has popping in the rear end. Had a shop look at it and they said the gears in the rear end has exteme wear on it, but could last alot long with care. Just will hear whining noise. As far as the miss fire no one can find it because the computer will not pick it up. I asked why and they said that it has to do it alot of time in a row. It does it alot but on occasion so their for will not pick it up. SO how do I fix it..

Did you take the truck to an independent mechanical prior to purchase and get the prepurchase inspection?

Randy,
While this is feedback FORD needs to hear I think you also need to direct your letter to the Nissan Dealer that sold you the previously owned vehicle.
As far as MPG the Chart infers that this vehicle should get 12 city and 16 on the open road.
Stop back when you hear back.

The only good news is that the F150 was the best selling vehicle for 23 years, and is the best selling truck for 31 years running.
Therefore, if you have no warranty, at least you will be able to find parts and find someone to work on it (if you don't). It sounds like you bought a stinker, but since it is used there is probably nothing Ford will do.
