My 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis had to have a ERG valve replaced and the dealer said it was not covered by warranty when the WARRANTY guide says 8 years or 80,000 miles coverage on page 12 and repeated on page 13 of warranty guide.I have 67,000 miles on the car.The dealer said the part was part of the Exhaust Gas Recirculation System(ERG) but that it was not covered.Well,I can read and it is covered in the Warranty. How can they decide individually that the part number is excluded from warranty while in writing it is included.
Reimburse me and change their warranty info to state what parts are not covered by listing each part code that is not warranted.
