Poor Healthcare

My father in law was admitted to the College View Nursing Home, 700 Trail Avenue, Frederick, MD 21701. During his stay he was found numerous times by family members with heavily soiled Depends undergarments, having to lay in a wet unchanged bed, and overall unclean care. The room was not kept clean. We saw a bloody wipe from a recent injection lay on the floor for at least two days. No matter how staffing was, there is no excuse to leave biohazards laying around for days. He had numerous bruises in his abdominal area from the insulin injections that he received. The family was so upset that we had him moved to another healthcare facility. I do not know what the root cause of this faulty care was, but it needs to be corrected so that other patients do not suffer this type of care.

If this facility is an example of how Genesis operates, they should be inspected to see if they even comply with healthcare standards. I'll bet that "Undercover Boss" didn't come to this facility when they did their TV show!
