Nexus 7 Pre Order Delay

On June 27th shortly after the Pre order page went live I ordered a Nexus 7 Tablet, and fully expected to be one of the first people to receive this highly anticipated product. On July 9th it would appear a UPS tracking slip was prepared but my device was NOT shipped rather it was left in a warehouse. Nexus 7s WERE delivered to retailers and some of them started to sell the product. Had my Nexus 7 been shipped when the label was first created I would have been 1 of the first customers to have this device. Instead I had to wait several days as happy Gamestop and other retailer customers enjoyed their devices ahead of me. :(

I understand you are giving away some Nexus Q devices. I would LOVE to get one of those free devices as compensation.

Re: Nexus 7 Pre Order Delay by Back_n_TX Posted Fri August 3, 2012 @ 1:58 PM GameStop didn't start delivering their Nexus 7's until Friday, 7/13. Honestly, if not having your new tablet for a couple of extra days is your biggest problem in life, you're doing pretty well. Google never once gave customers an expected delivery date. They didn't do anything wrong and shouldn't be "compensating" anyone.
