GEICO SUCKS!!
Insurance is supposed to be something dependable, right? Obviously, something's gone wrong. I'm writing with a complaint about the claims process at Government Employees Insurance Company (GEICO) and the frustration it's causing me. I'm very angry about this!
It's an auto insurance policy. For the record, my insurance plan or policy number is UH3917. Base on my coverage of six months (which is extremely high premiums)it states that I have a $500.00 dollar deductible for a six month period. It does not state that it is for each occurance/accident. As far as I am concerned I have met my $500.00 deductible for the six month period unless notified that it is in fact per occurance/accident before hand. The fact that GEICO poorly worded the contract to mislead me is not my fault. I expect GEICO to honor the contract as stated to me in provided coverage detail. NO EXCUSES OR NO OUT CLAUSES.
If you want my honest opinion, I've been very dissatisfied from the start. Because of this, I'll definitely find another insurance carrier when my policy expires. Will I recommend your firm to people I know? No way!
Here's what I would like Government Employees Insurance Company (GEICO) to do about this: I would like GEICO to amend my coverage detail and mail it to me along with everyone elses in such a state. I would like GEICO to take responsibilty for misleading me and pay for this breach of Good Faith
on this contract and have my vehicle fixed as per the original misleading contract with the deductible already met.
I hope to hear from you in a timely manner so that this problem can be resolved quickly and dependably.
