While Hewlett-Packard may be known for product innovation, the company's corporate development is a tale of reinvention. HP provides enterprise and consumer customers a full range of high-tech equipment, including personal computers, servers, storage devices, printers, and networking equipment. Its software portfolio includes operating systems, print management tools, and OpenView, a suite that encompasses application, business, network infrastructure, and product lifecycle management. HP also boasts an IT service organization that is among the world's largest.

I have a Pavilion Laptop I purchased on April 9, 2012 with a 1 year warranty, I started getting notifications on extending my warranty and on April 9th of this year I spoke to HP tech support on extending it, the agent was having trouble and would email me the offers, the email never arrived. In the meantime on April 22nd 2013 I got prompted by the computer about extending the warranty and...

failed motherboard on Pavilion s5660f, apparently one of many according to HP forum and other blogs |

Bought a new HP Pavilion s5660f in April of 2011, and already the motherboard has failed!
The HP forum and other blogs detail the massive serial failure of motherboards in this very computer model, but when I called HP customer service, all they tried to do was sell me more telephone support for $56.
This was clearly a proven major product defect and HP refuses to fix it, costing me over $750...

Laptop is a piece of junk even when sparsely used. |

I bought a laptop about 13 months ago and I sparsely use it for work. I mostly use my desktop at work or home. Even with the sparse use, the left button on my trackpad is broken, the battery is all but dead and the power cord is falling apart. I have used this for maybe a total of 1-2 hours a week.
I want a refund for my laptop. I will never buy HP again. I had a HP desktop that had...

I purchased a brand new HP Envy m6-1125dx laptop on Black Friday for $499.99 at Best Buy. I brought it home and noticed that it wouldn't work when I plugged my hdmi cable in to my HDTV. I called HP's tech support and after 4 hours on the phone they want me to send it in and to wait 2 weeks for them to repair it. I called Best Buy and they told me they will not have any in stock until Dec. 24....

Pavilion dv7 - Unreliable |
|
by Joseph F. of San Jose, California written to Hewlett-Packard Company Posted Wed October 24, 2012 2:29 am |

I recently had to say goodbye to my old HP Pavilion dv7 laptop. Well, actually, it was only ACTING old. In reality, it was just two months out of warranty.
A couple of weeks ago, without warning, my laptop began crashing to bluescreen minutes after startup. Sometimes the screen would become corrupted with bizarre glitches before the crash, other times it would just freeze and then crash. Once,...
