Photosmart C3180 printer installation

I am not very technically savy. I recently bought a new computer. Of course, my Hewlett-Packard printer had to be reinstalled. The directions on line, to me, were not doable. I called tech support. Because the printer was out of warranty, they would not help me without a charge. Thanks a bunch. It would have taken him about two minutes.

I would like your company to call me and walk me through getting the printer set up free of charge. At this time, the only previous experience I have had with your company has been two brand new speakers which had a short from day one and which I never used.

Try a little customer service. It goes a long way toward new sales.

I am actually surprised with your situation. I have the exact
printer, and when I got a new computer, had the same issues. I
couldn't find the cd that came with the printer, and couldn't get the
online instructions to work, either. They ended up sending me a new
cd, free of charge, on overnight shipping. This was about a year ago
(printer was out of warranty), but it was the single best customer
service I think I have ever had.

do you still ahve the install cds?

if not... another cheap way is to find a friend who's computer savvy
and ask them to help

id say to see if your computer has the drivers already
installed...some computers do come with drivers for many kinds of
printers, but others don't.
