HP Customer Service or backing of their products :-(

I have had three hp laptops within the last 4 years all with problems.. I once again had to send in newest laptop under warranty... I also have a hp all in one printer which has worked just fine UNTIL my latest repair. I got my laptop back, and the printer shows listed on my laptop but will not communicate with it. I called Hp to be told my printer was out of warranty so if I wanted to pay them they could get it working again. I told them it was working fine until the latest repair on my laptop which was still under warranty at time of call. I finally escalated to a higher manager, who informed me printers were not his area of expertise but asked me to try what he knew.. he then told me to uninstall printer and reinstall, I explained I just moved and did not know where my original disk is. He told me to look it up online. I am very displeased with HP cs as it would have been so easy for him to mail me the disk or give me the link to the download online, then for me to find it. I still have a printer that does not work. and am looking to buy another ( not HP)

Send me the re-installation disk and make sure via phone that the printer and laptop are communicating without charging me anymore money. or have printer service call me ( you have my number associated with my email ) and stay on the phone until it is working again. You should stand behind your products and quit trying to take more money from your customers...

He said printers weren't his area of expertise - all the info he
probably had to offer you WAS "go to HP.com"

If it's an hp printer, simply download the software from hp.com.
