HP took advantage of my 88 year old Uncle by not replacing the 6730s laptop he bought

My uncle bought the HP 6730s laptop in Nov. 2008 with Windows XP. He has had constant problems with it including problems with the keyboard and anti-virus software. He has been trying to get these problems resolved from Jan 09 - Jun 09 and he has sent the laptop in for repair maybe 8 times and none of the repairs met his satisfaction. He bought it specifically for Windows XP and during one the repairs they upgraded it to Vista and that infuriated him because it was no longer compatible with a printer he bought. He is 88 years old and I am afraid he was taken advantage of by HP in not repairing his laptop or not getting a refund. Also it may have been a setup issue with the laptop and therefore I can help set it up for him and show him how to use it.

Thanks in advance for your help

I am requesting your assistance in offering a replacement laptop or refund for him. If a replacement laptop is sent, then I will set it up and train him on how to use it. Thanks

Well depending on the problems with keyboard this can go either way.
AntiVirus is software so no fault of HP. Try a fresh install of xp and
go from there. Over 90% of computer issues are software/user related.

into that before claiming they are taking advantage of him?
