Lots of folks embark on household projects from The Home Depot. As the world's largest home improvement chain and second-largest retailer in the US after Wal-Mart, the firm operates more than 2,150 stores in all 50 US states, the District of Columbia, Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. It targets the do-it-yourself and professional markets with a broad product assortment (up to 45,000 items, including lumber, floor and wall coverings, plumbing, gardening supplies, tools, paint, and even appliances). Home Depot has reshuffled its top management in response to angry shareholders and sold its construction supply business, HD Supply, in 2007. |

In April 2011 I purchased a shower head from Home Depot. It is made by Delta Faucet and is model# 75305 store sku# 559752. It has a water flow selector button on it, which stopped working almost immediately. I had thrown my receipt away, so my options were to take an identical exchange or have a refund in the amount of the lowest sale price in the last six months. I chose the identical exchange,...

9/21/2011 I ordered a security door from your Largo, FL store #6321. Totaling $300.75
I then paid $35 to have your subcontactor come out and measure for the door.
On 9/21/2011 I was further overcharged $234.00 for installation. $97 was eventually refunded for the overcharge.
On 10/20/2011 The Door was to be installed. Unfortunately your installer was unable to complete the task, stating...

approximately 2 years ago I purchased a Mohawk carpet from the Gosford Home Depot in Bakersfield CA. In March of this year I noticed that the carpet was stretching badly. I am 73 and I live alone. I do not have a large amount of visitors. I finally called Home Depot and talked with the saleswoman who sold me the carpet. She sent and installer out to look at the carpet and he informed me that...

On October 14, 2011 I ordered a compact washer from homedepot.com . Order # W138101127 . It arrived with the box in very poor condition. The washer did not work.
