Horrible Customer Service

We picked Hooters because it was a mom and son night and my 3yr old and wanted to treat him for doing well in his baseball. In the end it ended up being a bad experience. We have never had such bad customer service at your restaurants before. When we walked in they said to seat yourself anywhere and unfortunately we sat in a new girl's section. We ordered milk, they were out and in the end she still charged me for ordering a childs milk even though she had served her water. So we asked the server a few question of their menu and she was guessing at first, I said if you want to find out and come back and she did. It was regarding an appetizer plate. We ordered and she told us hot would be hot and since my husband was not there to order for us we ordered medium. Food came out and then the wings and shrimp didn't look like they had any sauce on them at all so I asked a gentleman working there and he explained, then I said ok can you please just bring us a side of the buffalo sauce. He told our waitress. I thought great problem solved.. I was wrong. It took forever for the sauce to come. I didn't understand how a little side of sauce could take so long and our food was getting cold. I went to find the manager and I told him of the situation and he just acted like I was bothering him and so I just left to go back to my table. A few minutes later the sauce came andshe started explaining to me she had to put it in the computer and then the whole process. I said but we had our food you could not of gotten our sauce and then add it to our ticket while our food was hot. It didn't register. Then she also starts explaining to me about charging for the sauces, I said ok I understand. She asked if we needed anything. She refilled our drinks but with no ice, so had to ask for ice. I thenn also informed her we had told her we only wanted ranch and she had 2 blue cheeses on the table and started explaining she had that on her ticket. I didn't care but at the same time since she was giving me a speech about the sauces I wanted her to know she brought us something we didn't order. We finished eating and the check came. The check was wrong. I brought it to her attention and she argued. I said the milk is on there and she said yes. I had to remind her that she said they were out of milk so we never received the milk. She went to talk to the manager and he came and he was rude. He said the drink is off. He had no customer service and showed he didn't care or would admit fault. He said she took care of it. I advised him she took care of it because I read my bill and noticed it. He said well it is taken off. I paid and left. I have to say it was not the evening I had planned for me and my son. I also wanted to state when I approached the manager he was already dealing with another situation.

Approach the customer service situation from my waitress to the manager Paddy. I think they could have at least pretended they cared about my situation and what was going on. There needs to be training and whatever else to make this Hooters to what the others are and what it has been before in the past. I am disappointed in this restaurant. I paid $28 for a nightmare.

Hooters is NOT a family reataurant. I'd never take a child to a
restaurant to be waited on my half naked women!
There are dozens of places far more appropriate for small children. My
son is almost 18 and I would never allow him into such a place.

I was pretty much lost from here....

"We picked Hooters because it was a mom and son night and my 3yr old
and wanted to treat him for doing well in his baseball"

Actually it sounds like you brought TWO? children? A boy and a girl?

"she still charged me for ordering a childs milk even though she had
served her water"

After the waitress explained the process of adding another item to
your bill, (she was new, remember) you even said you UNDERSTOOD. I
wouldn't be suprised if adding/changing up the order might give her
issue and delay something. You even acknowledge she was new yet
complain there needs to be training?

The only thing I see here us that they overcharged you a milk, which
they fixed.
