Extremely satisfied with the response to my complaint.
by Samantha C. of Brick, New Jersey written to HSBC Bank USA Posted Mon October 19, 2009 2:03 am

I wrote a letter about 4 months ago about the payment policies and attitudes by the representives at HSBC Bank, with whom I have a Best Buy credit card. It took a little while but I was recently contacted by Carrie Rowe and I have to say I was very pleased how she handled it. She was extremely nice and very understanding. I was refunded the processing fee and my account now has a fixed payment...

I have been with HSBC for over 2 years now and had 3 cards with them. I recently closed one fo my cards. But the other 2 have annual fees they were willing to waive the annual fee on my bestbuy rewardzone mastercard for a year, and would not waive anything on my orchard bank card, and would not remoeve any of the annual fees perminatly. I have several other prime credit cards now with no annual...

HSBC cut my credit limit 400% in one month!
by M G. of Joshua Tree, California written to HSBC Bank USA Posted Mon September 21, 2009 8:59 pm

I have been paying down all of my credit card debt over the last year (about $5000 left now in total), and the one card I do use, I pay off every month ( a card with 0% interest to boot). I was paying at least $100 a month on the other three until things got tight financially, and I still pay either $50, or $20 over the minimum whichever is highest. My credit rating is very good, and I have never...

I set-up bill pay, yet every year & everytime I reach a zero balance, bill pay has to be re-set and of course I incur a late payment fee. What is the purpose of setting-up automatic bill pay if you have to continually monitor and re-set the payment schedule?

I would like my payments deducted whenever I have a balance. This is just a scheme.

On July 2nd I went to make a payment on my credit card that was due on July 3rd and was told that I would have to pay a $15 fee to process the payment or a $29 late fee would be assessed to my account. After arguing with the representive for 10 minutes, I paid my bill. On the 15th I called back about another issue but brought up the payment issue. I was told that if I pay my bill online I have to...
