I wrote a letter about 4 months ago about the payment policies and attitudes by the representives at HSBC Bank, with whom I have a Best Buy credit card. I have been with HSBC for over 2 years now and had 3 cards with them. I recently closed one fo my cards. But the other 2 have annual fees they were willing to waive the annual fee on my bestbuy rewardzone mastercard for a year, and would not waive anything on my orchard bank card, and would not remoeve any of the annual fees perminatly. I have been paying down all of my credit card debt over the last year (about $5000 left now in total), and the one card I do use, I pay off every month ( a card with 0% interest to boot). I set-up bill pay, yet every year & everytime I reach a zero balance, bill pay has to be re-set and of course I incur a late payment fee. What is the purpose of setting-up automatic bill pay if you have to continually monitor and re-set the payment schedule?
I would like my payments deducted whenever I have a balance. This is just a scheme.
