I am writing to see if you would be willing to make a "goodwill" adjustment to your reporting to the three credit agencies. While unemployed I had a few late payments and have since taken steps to put my loan into deferment. I am now since employed and will begin making payments on this loan at the end of the deferment period. I would really appreciate any goodwill adjustment that can made to this account as it is seriously affecting my credit score in a negative way and with a child on the way it I am trying my best to clear this matter up.

Re: Credit by RowdyRetailer Posted Fri March 20, 2009 @ 5:14 PM A FICO score is your I love Debt Score. The more debt you take out and repay on time, the higher your number. If you are late, you get dinged. That is what you signed up for. If you dont borrow money you credit score is essentially ZERO, which I am proud to say I have. I have never needed it in my life. People use it as a crutch to overspend and get some "rewards" Sleeping at night, knowing you dont owe on your house, your cars, credit cards, student loans, makes me sleep very well.
