A year and a half ago, I had some pretty bad credit! (In the higher 500's) You put faith in me and gave me two credit cards. I am very grateful that I have had the chance to prove that I am credit worthy. Since then, I have made my payments one time every month. I have never gone over my spending limit. My scores have also gone up about 100 points in that time. Again, its all because you gave me those line of credit. Thank you!
At this point, I believe that I should have been allowed a credit limit increase. I am not sure what I need to do to prove to you that I am worthy of this. When I signed up for your cards, the customer service rep assured me that I would be eligible for periodic increases if I did all of the things above.

I feel that I have kept up my end of the bargain, and would like you to do the same. I am requesting either a cli for both of my cards or would I would like to at least have the two cards combined. If we agree to the latter, I would like you to ensure that the card would be eligible for cli's in the future (as long as I continue to make those timely payments, of course!!)
Thank you in advance,
Jennifer

And I just want to say, congratuations, Jennifer, on increasing your
credit score. I wish more people could see your letter and know that a
credit score can be increased and how to do it.

My favorite thing about this letter is that although you haven't
gotten exactly what you wanted, you're polite and friendly and
acknowledge your good experiences with the company.

My second favorite thing is that you are clear and specific about your
past, both the bad and the good.

I like the whole letter, actually, but those are my two favorite
things about it.

I hope they give you what you want.
