Crystal leaks because of Huggies!

In the past I have used Pampers, Our Compliments and Zeddy brand of diapers, but recently my mother in law bought me Huggies, I was really disappointed! Every time my daughter soiled her diaper with urine her sensitive areas would be covered in these little crystals, I do understand that this will happen if your child is left in a diaper for a long periods of time, but this was not the case. I must say that the cheaper brands we much more satisfying and in the future I will not purchase Huggies brand again!

I would like huggies to take a better look at there diapers and the levels of absorbancy. If your going to charge big bucks for your diapers they should be great quality.

I will say that those crystal beads are a result of the chemicals used
to make disposable diapers more absorbant. All disposable diapers have
this problem, however some may be worse than others.

The best way to avoid this is to consider using cloth diapers. There
are several new options that work great--as good as a disposable and
you won't have to deal with having those chemical induced crystal
beads again. Do a search for cloth diapers and you will find some
great options. Cloth diapers aren't what they used to be...

Since when are Huggies big bucks - they are typically cheaper than
Pampers! It sounds like you got a bad batch of diapers, call the
number on the package and Kimberly-Clark will probably help you out.

I have found this problem from time to time with every brand of
diapers out there. We have 4 kids...so, we have been though A LOT of
diapers and a lot of brands. Just one of those things that happens.
Don't know what causes it, but I know the little beads wont do any
harm.

From what I have read here, Kimberly Clark typically gets in touch
with you.
You mentioned "big bucks". These were a gift... if they don't work,
then you can go back to your own brand.
I did a search, and found that 204 of these diapers will run you
$40... Not unreasonable to me.
