Teeth Fell Out of My Abercrombie & Fitch Hoodie!
by Ben M. of Cremorne Point, New York written to Abercrombie and Fitch Posted Fri October 10, 2008 12:00 pm

My girlfriend purchased me a A+F hoodie from your New York store in April. I still have the receipt.

The teeth from the zip of the hoodie have started to deteriorate and simply fall off?? There is obviously something wrong with the material the zip was made out of or how the teeth were fixed to the hoodie.

There are no A&F stores in Australia for me to return it to so I contacted you by...

Problem Using a Check at Sears
by R C. of Canyon, Texas written to Sears, Roebuck & Co. Posted Fri October 10, 2008 12:00 pm

I attempt to purchase a simple thing, a band saw blade (2ea) and used a check to pay for it.

First I was urged to charge it to my Sears Card. No thanks, I do not have one and do not want one. They attempt to run the check thru, and apparently (they told me) that it indicated that a verbal OK was necessary and they were to call a certain phone number.

OK, they tried that but the phone number...

Conicelli Toyota is an Irresponsible Dealer
by K I. of Sunnyvale, California written to Conicelli Toyota Posted Thu October 9, 2008 12:00 pm

I bought Toyota Corolla 2006 as a new car from Conicelli Toyota in Conshohocken, PA, and asked to install GPS for me.

After 2 years ago, the engine suddenly stopped, won’t start again. Other Toyota dealer diagnosed and concluded that unprofessional, messy wiring to computer from GPS might be responsible for engine stop. Unless replacing these parts, my car is not drivable. It costs $4000.

by Eric P. of Fostoria, Michigan written to Walmart Posted Thu October 9, 2008 12:00 pm

I went into the Lapeer Walmart store to purchase a coffee maker for my wife who is at home up with a leg injury. I was scanning the shelf labels and discovered that the Mr. Coffee maker model # CG 13 had a feature that would allow me to go to work and not worry about my wife's safety. Your shelf label stated that he Model # CG 13 has a two hour shutoff, so I would not worry about my wife while I...

Stop Cancer Donation Quotas, Safeway
by teresa m. of Salem, Oregon written to Safeway, Inc. Posted Wed October 8, 2008 12:00 pm

It is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and Safeway is participating in fundraising again this year.

While only slightly annoyed at being asked to donate everytime I go there (almost everyday because I work close by), I can appreciate what Safeway is trying to do. However, walking through the front end today, next to the managers office, in plain sight of everyone, I noticed a written "memo" to...

Not So Lucky with Lucky Brand Jeans
by M S. of Erie, Pennsylvania written to Lucky Brand Jeans Posted Wed October 8, 2008 12:00 pm

As a woman I am always looking for the perfect pair of jeans. As a woman with a slimmer waist and larger rear/hips/thighs, it's extremely difficult to find those jeans without them being too long/short, too tight in the hips/thighs, too loose in the waist.

That's why I was ecstatic when I wandered into Lucky Brand Jeans one day and tried on a Classic Rider jeans. They were the perfect jean, I...

In Search of Peeled Garlic at Costco
by K R. of Prescott, Arizona written to Costco Companies, Inc. Posted Wed October 8, 2008 12:00 pm

For many years I've bought jars of peeled garlic. I couldn't find it several months ago, and learned that Costco was bringing the product back, due to many requests for it. Now again it's gone (deleted in the system).

Peeled garlic is so easy to use for those of us who don't want the additives in bottled garlic. Costco carries bulb garlic, but how many in this day and age want to go through...
