Given the state of the message boards these days, I welcome any and all who
may have a personal issue with me to hash it out right here on my blog.
Seems as though Venice's blog has been polluted with this kind of
conversation, and just in case she takes offense to it, feel free to say
what you wish here.

In accordance with the new stringent TOS, let's make a game of this. Let's

The beauty of PFB is that we finally get a chance to see stupid people rise
to the surface because they think they are either being cheated, or because
they think they can get a freebie when they get mad at a company. It just
goes to show you that stupidity, computers, and money simply do not mix.

God, between the raving idiots bitching about English not being the
"official" language, to people who can't handle a simple thing like ummm a
checking account, to people bitching about the use or non-use of the word
"Christmas", to idiots proclaiming their love of NASCAR in every letter, my
IQ seems to go down a few notches with every sentence I read on here.

So much so, that I may just resort to using the CAPS LOCK BUTTON AND
REPEATED !!!!!!!!! MARKS!!!!!! SEEMS TO GET MY POINT ACROSS!!!!!!

Oh, and by the way, I will NEVER step foot inside one of your stores again!

year old child's life is now RUINED because of your faulty coupon policy.

I'd be here for days listing all my pet peeves about people and other
things in life, but one really sticks out to me.

I spend a lot of time on the internet reading discussion boards. Those
people who have no idea how to type, or spell, or use grammar, or
punctuation. Did these people not get ANY education from Elementary
School? I am, in no way, a spelling nazi. Everyone makes spelling
mistakes as well as typos. That's to be expected. However, there's just
no excuse for people to use "chat lingo" on a message board. It pisses me
off trying to decipher what someone is saying when I read something like:
"o u no wut happen 2 me 2day? i wuz drivin down da road n i git pulled ovah
by da police. i wuz lyke omg i gonna git a tik!! has ne 1 else got 1
lately?" GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!

Sorry, when someone types like that, I tend to pass judgement on their
intelligence, or lack thereof.

with some of that "chat lingo", but since I'm too dumb to understand it,
I'd never be able to write it!... haha.

I have always been a stickler for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and
CONTRACTIONS! Are apostrophes obsolete??? That's not to say I'm perfect or
an expert, but at least I remember the basics. When I first started using
the internet, I was annoyed with myself because I couldn't get used to the
lingo, and then one day I realized that I didn't WANT to get used to it.
It would kill me if I ended up using it myself. So, now I just ignore it as
much as possible and make a point of sticking to the old-fashioned way of
communicating, with real words and sentences.

I have to tell you something funny. Until I saw the larger picture of your
icon, I was convinced it was an eyeball with a lid on top. When I finally
realized what it was, I thought it was hysterical. It's one of the cutest
icons on PFB!

And what is even worse is when they write what is supposed to be a
professional letter and they use that crap! I mean, come on!

I rarely use shortcuts when I am text messaging but even when I do I feel
guilty for it. LOL!
