It is an awful word that many people on both sides of the street take
advantage of, abuse, and misuse. God created all of us equal. No one is
any better than the other. Though many think they are so much better than
others. Those seem to be the ones that climb up that social ladder, of
course, stepping over some to get to the top. Maybe, I am wrong but I
don't care if I make it to the top of THAT LADDER.
I lost a job I loved because I hired "certain ethnic persons". It wasn't
because they were african americans, that I protested and stood against the
administration or that it was against the law. It was because they were
human beings, my friends, some of them, brothers or sisters in Christ. I
only expect the same from any other person. I don't care what color you
are or I am. That should not matter. Life is hard enough. Why make it
harder throwing racism and predjudices in?

A friend of mine has a son who just had a new baby last month. He works
night shift so his morning is actually his afternoon. After his night
shift, he went for a few drinks, got in a car, tried to beat a train and
ended up hitting another car and killed the other guy. People have been
blogging that he should rot in hell, that he is an idiot, that he could
never get his just punishment.
I realize what he did was very wrong. But, he doesn't read these things,
his family does. He will pay for his misdeeds. The courts will have their
say and he will probably will spend at least 10 years in jail.
What bothers me is that these same people who are blogging this, drank to
the guy that was killed, they went to the bars after this happened and got
drunk over their friends death. SO, where is the right? It was a stupid
thing for him to do. But, it could happen to any of those who choose to
drink and drive. Yet, they continue to doso even after facing something
that SHOULD wake them up and teach them something.
Apparently we never learn, even at the loss of a friend.
Some people said this guy that was killed did the same thing all the time
and was lucky he had not done the same thing. They said he got his just
dessert. I don't believe that is just dessert.
Accidents happen. People have stupid attacks. We all make mistakes. Some
are just worse than others, or some end up becoming worse than others
because of the results.
One girl said 10 years is not justice, but his family and he will suffer
for the rest of his life. Do you think he like went out purposely to kill
this guy? No, that was not in his plan. So, yes, he will feel remorse for
the rest of his life. His famly will feel the results of this for the rest
of their life. A son will grow his first 10 years of life (at least)
without his father. A single mom will have to raise him. A loving mother
and father will have to live knowing their son (that they didn't even know
drank) drunkenly took someone else life. God help them all.

Why the arrogance of some of the people on here and where it comes from
astounds me.It is ok for some to make remarks and not for others when it is
all just opinions. And, then, who you respond to seems to make an impact
also and aggravate same such people. It is all just opinions. Just
because you don't like my response to say your opinion doesn't mean I can't
give it anymore than you have no right to give your opinion. As long as it
is civil, keep it going.
