I just think that the employee losing his job for one infraction would be a bit much. I feel the manager's cavalier attitude about "getting to it later" should be addressed with the same degree of attention the employee got. Who knows how much food product was handled between the time he went back to the workstation and the "convenience" of the manager's time schedule?
I'm sure it happens a lot more frequently than we know, and not just that establishment.
