I got a little lost here, but...

Sprint phones, in general, are not "chipped" to prevent your from using BT. You're thinking Verizon.

I have a Sprint RAZR phone and I'm able to use BT for a headset, to transfer data (including pictures) between my phone and PC, and to use my phone as a modem (although I don't do this as it costs extra). I can't really think of anything that Sprint has stopped me from doing via BT. Maybe you happen to have a phone from a manufacturer that added these limitations? But I can tell you from my experience (and from reading the experience of others) that Sprint is one of the better companies when it comes to allowing you to use BT any way you like.
