Going Straight for the Top

I am at a loss for the OP's who believe it is better to silently storm out of an establishment without making the local management aware that there is a problem.
It reminds me of the whiney kids in grade school who, instead of showing maturity and dealing with issues head on, ran and tattled to the teacher in the hopes of getting the other person "in trouble."
And that just SO speaks to the mentality of some of the OP's. They don't really want to rectify the situation. They either want to see what they "can get out of it" (like our friend the "negotiator") or they are looking to publicly humiliate the staff and management at the specific site.
To me, that seems so juvenile - not to mention self centered because it shows that they think every little slight is personally aimed at them. As if they are just SO IMPORTANT that employees of any major corporation would plot to screw them over.
So to those who think it's a "waste of time" to go through the "proper channels" when making a complaint or trying to get a problem resolved, just remember this: Nobody likes a tattle tale!
