I have no reason to not believe this happened, so I'll assume that it did. I'll further assume that there isn't "another side of the story."

If the NAACP isn't interested, why? Surely, if there's a store where ALL the employees treat someone this way, they'd want to check it out. No?

Surely, the corporate offices (to whom you're writing) would be concerned. Why do you suppose they aren't?

I don't doubt you. And I don't think treating anyone this way is acceptable. But I have to wonder why the NAACP doesn't seem to care. And why corporate isn't even concerned enough to say that they are sorry. Things that make you go hmmmmm....
