Oh my GOD, you're only NOW noticing that Christmas has completely lost its true significance and has become the *biggest* gimmegimmegimmefest ever?

Whatever happened to family, friends, kindness and goodwill toward men? Did you ever stop and think that there are kids out there who won't even get Christmas? Who don't even get square meals on a regular basis? What about the troops who will spend Christmas in the inhospitable Middle East, away from their families? What about the families who receive the dreaded phone calls that their sons, daughters, husbands or wives are coming home...in pine boxes?

Frankly, I think it's disgusting that with all the people out there who are less fortunate than you that you're more caught up in whether some poor, overworked underpaid Wal-Mart clerk says "happy holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas." I think if that's the worst thing you ever have to deal with, you should consider yourself pretty damned fortunate.
