I agree with you on the lakeview, or even oceanview.
Those are sometimes very liberal interpretations of "view". However, when you say Oceanfront of Lakefront, there is a fairly basic historical precident that this means your room will be facing the ocean for the most part, and a short walk downstairs, if needed, and to the beach.

I hope Orbitz does the right thing and gives her the money back. They should give her more for her trouble that they caused her.
