I hate to tell you this but you are not going to get anywhere with this. It says quite clearly in their terms and conditions that if you port your number to another service provider you MUST call them to terminate your service. It also says that if you cancel before the end of your term, you will be charged an early termination fee. It doesn't matter what Comcast told you, what matters is what is in Vonage's terms and conditions.
