Is this directed at me?

Mary Jo, if this is directed at me, let me assure you that I was NOT attacking this customer. I speak as someone who was diagnosed with major depression in 1999 and understands all too well how easy it is to become unhappy about something that most others would find stupid. (One night, before my diagnosis, I became so frustrated at not being able to figure out what to do with the chicken I had out for supper that I became "stressed out" and broke down. My dad's response? "Get over it!") I mentioned being tested for depression not to be mean, but to encourage this customer to find out why she became so upset. The diagnosis and subsequent prescription for antidepressants helped me understand why certain things triggered the reactions they did.
I've been called "crazy" and "mentally weak" before, and have even have my faith called into question because I was diagnosed with depression. So I think I understand what this customer is going through. I even put in my post that I was speaking from my own experience...so I can't understand why you would assume that I was attacking the letter writer's mental stability. I am totally sympathetic to her because I've been there.
If your message wasn't directed at me, then great. Otherwise, I would have appreciated your asking me what I meant before going off on me.
Thank you, and good night.
