my personal experience working many calls in places where most white folks in Atlanta are scared to venture (which is ironic because there is nothing inherently bad at all) has shown me how black America has pretty much been taken a crap on by my fellow anglo Napoleons who are so lost in their own egos they forget that we are all humans.

I've seen the police mistreat people that had the person been a little lighter in color they would be cutting up and laughing in the same scenario. Yeah I work in the business and see it, hate to rag on the boys in blue as we work with them but just as I say about smokers- it's the truth. I've seen black kids get the stick for stuff white kids in the burbs would get taken home to their folks- like simple drug possession. I've seen the general attitude of our local elected officials which is basically I DON'T CARE when it comes to needs of the lower income working class black parts of the ATL.

This facility serves the uninsured and under insured and is a vital part of our hospital system in Georgia. Yet it becomes a racial argument by uneducated white people who think Grady is hosed because of "poor black people draining the system".

Well remember many working class black folks in Atlanta have been pushed out onto the streets, thanks to this new found source of SLAVE LABOR, sponsored in part by the Bush Administration- illegal immigrants. These felon illegals are the real problem in our city, and yet because big business LOVES the fruits of the labor provided, the working class blacks that used to have those jobs in construction, landscaping, housekeeping and food service has been replaced by their illegal alien counterparts. Those are the REAL leeches on our society and THEY AREN'T EVEN SUPPOSED TO BE HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE.

These are the real problem of draining our resources- they are 40 percent of Grady's write-off's. THEY AREN'T EVEN CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY yet because they'll cut our grass, clean our businesses, make hamburgers and build homes and not ask for decent wages, health insurance, and safe working conditions their the white master's best friend! And when they don't do what the master says, guess what! They get rounded up and deported. You watch...only a matter o' time.

All of us white folks aren't stupid, we know what time it is. Problem is not too many of us think like I do and those that do don't have such a big mouth like me. But it stinks and I am disgusted with the way we (white people) treat our brothers and sister Americans who just happen to be a little darker in color than us. And when people like the OP write this redneck rambling it just pisses me off. Katrina: need I say more. Don't even get me started....
