I agree that you deserve the Kelly/NADA values. It sucks that those of us who conserve money and drive older vehicles get the short end of the stick when something like this happens. I bought a small pickup new in 1993. It has only about 120,000 miles on it. Of course, I carry only liability insurance on it. But if someone hit me and totalled it, I'd be lucky to get $750 for it. Hardly seems fair, when I'd be incurring a $300/monthly car payment in return.
