The thing with NADA and Edmonds and the sort is that they're great jumping off points. The problem with them is that a lot of dealers don't use them at all because they use a different data base and one man's good condition is another man's fair. I don't know if insurance companies work the same way or not, but something tells me they do.

I guess paying the $8 a month in gap insurance wasn't a bad idea afterall. Stories like this make me cringe.
