No business can survive with an attitude like that. There is too much competition. If Staples doesn't accommodate the customer then they will end up like KMart, CompUSA and many others. Either closing tons of stores or just shutting down completely.

My advice for the OP would have been to go back when another manager is there. Staples was a great company to work for. They really do treat customers well.
