I'd knock you out if you said "merry christmas" to me. I used to work in a community that was a majority of jews and terrorists, I mean, arabs. I don't think they would be happy if you said it to them either.

I don't think that the president (bush) should get up in front of TV cameras and groups of americans and say anything about "our thoughts and PRAYERS are with..." or "god bless..." - that should be outlawed. I don't believe in god or prayer so I shouldn't have to hear about it or have someone assume that I'm praying for anyone or need some imaginary figure to "bless" me.
