Target's clearance schedule for holiday items (Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Summer items, Halloween, and Christmas) follows as 50% off the day after the holiday and continues for a few days. It then goes to 75% off, and eventually 90% off. How quickly the items change discount percentages is set by each store.

So the day after Christmas, all (there may be some exclusions) Christmas items will be 50% off. The rush in the morning is very similar to Black Friday.
