Thanks heavens for good neighbours
by Get well soon, Dad - Posted Mon December 3, 2007 @ 9:42 AM

Saturday night it started snowing here and by sunday morning there was quite a bit of snow. I knew Saturday that I would have to figure out a way to get the snow off the drive way, and that would probably mean shovelling. The problem is that neither of us are really able to shovel. When I got up, I looked outside to see if it was still snowing (it's reather counter-productive to shovel if it's still snowing) and realized that my driveway had been cleaned.
I live on a small street and know all the neighbours, it seems as though the neighbours came together to take care of the snow knowing that neither of us are able to do it. We even got a basket of blueberry muffins from the older lady across the road.
We are very lucky to have them, and will most definitely pay it forward when we are both able to.

I am going in for a stress test tomorrow, Elliot stopped kicking as much as she was. My dad is still hanging in, but I don't suspect it will be for much longer, he is using all the fight he has in him.
