We Can All Guess How I Feel About This...

This is a story about a Christian "scientist" who was fired because he wouldn't accept evolution, saying that the bible creates a true account of how life started on Earth. Now he's sueing, of course.

The fact is that you cannot be a scientist if you believe what the bible says about the creation of Earth. There is simply no way. Scientists have to use the scientific method for ALL research and this includes forming hypotheses and looking for evidence that either supports or rejects that hypothesis.

Religion isn't science because you cannot test it. One is simply told to just believe. That is not the way science works. Science is everchanging, religion is not.

The case has already been thrown out once because the center he was fired from focuses solely on evolutionary research. But he's trying again, and I'm sure if he recruits other Christians with the idea that Christianity is under attack (similar to this supposed War on Christmas) it will be quite the story.

How I wish for an educated world...
