The reason why people arent free to express themselves and say whatever holiday greeting they would like is because of people, like yourself, that like to complain and make their opinion known. You want to hear the words "christmas" there are also people who write letters saying that they dont. The squeaky wheel gets the grease and unfortunately there are alot of squeakers out there. In order to try and please everyone people have to keep their mouth shut. Like your mom always said... if you cant say something nice.. Not everyone finds merry christmas to be nice. Its a personal issue for individual americans not a corporate issue.

Btw I'm not disagreeing with you at all. Personally I think this country needs to stop trying to be so politically correct and start emphasizing personal responsiblity. But that would never happen because god forbid someone get offended when we tell them they are in control of their own lives.
