Think back. Did you say anything in a tone that sounded like you were annoyed with her? Did you say something that she might construe as being rude?
Of course, she does need to be polite to you. Especially since she's the manager. But your letter sure makes it seem like there's something being left out.
Unless she was having a psychotic episode, I cannot fathom how handing you your card would cause her to explode like that. Unless you said or did something that upset her. Did you snort? Grab the card? Make a comment about her refusal to let you use the bathroom?
Or, maybe you honestly did nothing that upset her and she really was having a psychotic episode.
Do you think that's what happened?
