Gina - I completely agree that this was odd behavior. I understand that it is hard to believe anyone would act like this - I too was in complete disbelief. I think the fact that I have so much retail experience and it was against anything I ever was taught was why it disturbed me so much. I was actually crying when I called the Halmark line because I was so upset. I just don't understand why you would treat a customer like this. I frequent this shopping center often and when I have been in other stores this week (where I know the employees) I have asked them if they shop at the Halmark store and many of them have commented that this owner isn't the friendliest. Either way myself and my friends won't be shopping there anymore.
