This is a very polite, reasonable complaint letter about something that irks me to no end. The employee who made your sandwich knew he/she was making a huge mess and wrapped it up and handed it over anyway.

And with the fries -- ick!

It's stories like this that made me glad we had such good managers at the fast food restaurant I worked at. For example, they taught us that when new fries were done cooking, they were to be kept separate in the fry bin and salted, so the older fries wouldn't get re-salted.

I wish you had called the manager as soon as you got home, so the problem could be addressed in a timely fashion.
