I was coming home yesterday from work, after a long day and decided to get a small cheeseburger at Wendy's to hold me over until I got home. In an effort to not drink so much pop, I decided to ask for a water, at first, not even thinking at all about PFB.
When I got to the window, I was given a nice, large glass of water with my cheeseburger. :) Not a courtesy cup, not a 10 cent charge, not a full price charge. They gave me a free, large cup of water to go along with my cheap order. Reminded me of the letter here recently about such things...

Then, I drive home, shaking my head as I realized that during the day, the gas prices shot up to almost $4 a gallon down the road from my house. Damn those greedy bastards. :)

Finally, tonight I go to the store and see that Breyers ice cream is buy 1, get 1. Of course, all of the other ice cream is full, but the shelf for the Breyers is completely empty. Leading me to think about whomever it was that is like me and usually only buys ice cream when it's on sale.
