The rest of you people should be ashamed. The store has an obligation to help the customers, even if it's only to help get in touch with a manufacturer (yes ALL products are manufactured by someone!). So what if the store return date was expired, they sold it, they know who made it, they can help by telling her who to talk to. They weren't even polite. I don't shop at Target, partly because of the rude service, mostly because of their corporate attitude. They don't support the Military in any way, in fact they have policies and practices that border on anti Military AND anti America. If you can't see that, time to get some glasses, or maybe an education.
