Just like that LifeLock service (the one where the owner tells you his social security number as proof that his company can protect you from identity theft), this company sounds like they charge a fee to simply file things for you. Things you could do on your own, although the fee is worth it since they've already done the research on who to contact/what forms are needed/etc. They blame delays on those that they sent filings to (such as the county where you have your record) because, in the end, they don't have control over these things. The only "rapid" they can offer is how quickly they mail off your forms.
Plus, I have to believe that a business that exists to help people with criminal records erase their records doesn't feel the need to be nice. Not everyone with a record is a bad person. But if you really want to get a bona fide conviction off your records and you don't know how to do this yourself and you don't have money for a lawyer... what else you going to do?
It sounds like a great scam... Errr... I mean "business"... to me.
