Wegmans brands are just as good or better than the national brands (which is what I assume you mean by the "real deal", and they are almost always less expensive. At least half of the food in my house is Wegmans brand, and I will only buy good quality food.

As far as the child care goes, you are lucky that Wegmans (or any store) would provide child care for children of any age. Sorry your kid is too spoiled or undisciplined to go grocery shopping with you, but that is your problem and likely your fault.
