I hate the airline industry, the bailout was among the worst ways to waste 15 billion taxpayer dollars. This is the aftermath, ever since 2001 service has gotten worse and worse till now it's almost nonexistent.

If you have the means charter a flight, Jetblue in LA can do a nonstop for about 33k each way. If you are doing any business during the holiday it might be worth it.

Another way around the airlines is to get a pilots license and buy or lease your own plane.
