Your comment was removed because it went well beyond challenging the letter writer's suggestion that a company stop supporting certain organizations etc. Even though it was sarcastic, it could have been easily misunderstood by the casual reader.

As for PFB being "anti-gay", nothing could be further from the truth. You must not have read the other comments on Jerry's letter because almost of all of them are "pro-gay" and none of those were removed. To claim we are "anti-gay" just because YOUR comment was removed is preposterous.

As for the letter itself, we do not require that folks who wish to provide feedback to companies confine themselves to politically correct topics. Even though the letter writer clearly expects McDonalds to change their stance on this issue, his letter didn't contain inflammatory or inappropriate language whereas your comment did. We have tightened our moderation of comments considerably in the past six months and we no longer allow commenters to attack letter writers just because they dont like what the letter writer said.
